I picked up this March 2014 APC ( Australian Personal computer magazine 400TH ISSUE ) and was surprised to see a free space saving software included in their complimentary disk. My drive was almost full and my computer had turned a bit slow past couple of months , (now i dont know if this both is related) , but did need to get rid of files i don’t need to save some space and possibly make my C:/drive run a bit faster as well

Folder visualiser was just what i needed for my drive space troubles Its a software by a german company.I trust german automobiles and software , they are pretty good in engineering and now in software as well.
FolderVisualizer can easily identify the files and folders that are taking up your hard disk space. The application analyzes your disk drives and shows you exactly which files and folders take most space on your disk. Using this program you can explore the contents of your hard drives (option to select drive), then you can also delete files and folders from the context menu
