Version reviewed: Immersive Explorer 0.3.0 Alpha

Immersive Explorer has been built as an alternative to the default file manager in Windows.  It is basically a  small software  that you can download in a minute and install that transforms your existing Windows into a windows 8 Display version , by simply using your existing windows install.

Its easy  as a preview because it does not make any permenant changes , but just gives you a a display window just like windows 8 which you can just click on x and close if you don’t wish to use it. It definitely looks awesome and cool

It uses hardware acceleration for fluid display of animations and is designed around the Modern UI available in Windows 8.

Just like in the Windows’ file manager, the default initial view shows the group of libraries, favourites and the drives.

The navigation controls that allow you to move back and forth and go up one level or return to the initial screen with all the drives.

Development is ongoing and any flaws pointed out in the review might be fixed in the stable release.
